@TP-Link  I am using Airtel sim, I get > 10 mbps at both Band 1 and Band 40 when selcted intividually. When I select both for aggregation, it never worked for me. I am not getting 4G+, it mostly shows Band 40 only. Can you please help?

@TP-Link I have a MR600 V2 and have the following issues.

1. How do I enavle B40+40 carrier aggregation? Do I select only B40 in the band selection?

2. On Jio, I cannot select any bands? Why?

@Kevin_Z @Kathir

Hello Kathir, thanks for raising this issue. You are correct. After spending heavy amount on this router, we should be allowed to aggregate 40+40 or 40+5 or 40+3. To be honest, this router has not stood up to my expectations, especially due to this issue. Also, even where aggregation is active, we barely see the different in speeds, notwithstanding, sporadic high speeds due to high network. I really hope the team gives us a way to lock two band instead of leaving aggregation at the whim of the router. The only thing impressed me so far in this router is wifi range, otherwise it is no better than just another 4g phone.

@TP-Link Hi! Satwinder Singh here, while upgrading firmware version through app, (it was auto update prompt) , the progress was stuck at 21% and after that the firmware version was showing latest 1.3. Am using Airtel sim.Harware version is V2 (EU) . Am not able to lock on two bands. Though 4G+ is displayed sometimes but bands selected is only one. My network provider support band 1, 3, 8 & 40 in my area. I tried to reach TP link care on email but never got a reply. Kindly help.

@Kathir i have read all the comments

So should i just go for v1 and install the beta firmware and be happy with band selection?

Because i see a lot of people having troubles with v2 band selection and updates not fixing the issue

@XNA downgrading to the MR600 V1 is never the answer, it's a worse device in every possible way than the V2. Having band selection in the firmware is no guarantee it will actually work any better (or at all). It's absolutely essential on the V1 to maintain any sort of stable connection because the radio hardware is so poor, it never helped CA on mine. If you aren't getting working CA on a V2, it's unlikely locking channels will help on a V1.

  @TP-LINK

Carrier aggregation seems to be an issue and unstable. The only option available with V2 is Band locking.

Please help with firmware upgrade for manual multiple band locking, so that carrier aggregation can be used efficiently.
