Hello,

 

I have issues with the Archer TX3000E network adapter not being able to connect automatically to my Wifi network when I turn on or reset my computer. It does so after a couple minutes or when I manually check my connections and click "Connect" on the network that has the "connect automatically" option checked. This is a problem as I have several applications that check for updates an such on startup, and are throwing errors due to not having internet connection at boot. Any suggestions?

@Jack32 Good day, 

 

Thank you for your detailed info and sorry for the late update. The driver should be up to date. Here are some suggestion you could try:

 

  • Turn off power saving mode for the adapter as photo below
  • If you have a dual band router, it is recommended to set up different Wi-Fi names for 2.4Ghz / 5Ghz. 

Enable one band at a time if possible and see if the problem happens on certain Wi-Fi band ? 

 

Do you mean after rebooting your Windows computer, you have to wait for few mins or Wi-Fi will not reconnect ? 

May I have a photo of the Wi-Fi status at that moment, does it circle or connected but no Internet? 

May I know the model of your Wi-Fi router, and the firmware hardware of your router?  can you share us photo of the motherboard info , thank you.

Thanks for your assistance, I will try to reply to all your questions.

 

  • I have not modified the settings in the network adapter and when I cheked the option for power management it was as you shown in the picture, so that is not the problem. You can see it in screenshot:

 

 

  • Thanks for the advice, but I already have different names for each band of the network router. The 2.4 is called "Jack" and the 5GHz is called "Jack.speed" I can share a picture with brand and model number of the router. Of all my devices, including several laptops, this is the only one who has issues connecting to Wifi.

 

 

 

So let me rephrase the problem. Whenever I turn on, reset or wake from sleep my computer the network adapter does not connect automatically to my Wifi signal. Sometimes after a few moments it connects, other times I have to manually select the Wifi and click on "Connect", and it can happen that it says "Can't not connect" so I have to restart the network adapter and try again. This is very annoying and my applications complain since they try to look for updates whenever Windows startup.

 

Whenever it finally connects to Wifi I have no problem with the internet connection, the problem comes before at the time of stablishing the connection.

 

I'm not sure what information about the motherboard you need, so I will just share a whole summary of my computer specs:

The issue is still unresolved. No one has contacted me which show a lack of quality customer support.
