Is it possible to use two Powerline kits on the same mains ring?

I have two different kits (AV1300 and AV2000), if i set the network security name differently on both sets of kits will they both work independently?

I have tried pairing the AV1300 Wireless extender to the AV2000 system and it doesn't work, so can i keep these two systems separate and working without any interference?

@JohnSF Good day,

In theory, all the TP-Link powerline devices on sale can work together. In the real network environment, it would be better if we use the powerline devices with same powerline data speed in the same network. We can also use powerline devices with different data speeds together. Here are some recommendations:

Current Powerline	Recommendation
AV600/AV1300	AV600, AV1300
AV1000/AV2000	AV1000, AV2000

It is not so recommended to use AV1300 & AV2000 in the same powerline to ensure their performance. If possible you could change one of the KIT to the model of same powerline rate, both kit are AV1300/ AV2000.

You could add to up to 16 nodes or more when using AV2000/AV1300 and here is a related FAQ:
