Model: Archer T3U
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Problem:

My WiFi USB adapter (TP-LINK Archer T3U Plus) has massive ping spikes every few minutes despite having a perfect connection every time. It started doing this about a week ago and was working fine when I first got it. I reinstalled the driver from the CD but I'm not sure how else I can fix it. It only lags when I play video games which is strange because it works just fine whenever I use anything else.

This seems to be a general issue with T3U (and not only) wireless adapters. Please also check my reply: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/258978?replyId=582308
Maybe the details from there help tp-link support to reproduce and hopefully fix the issue.

@Nathan7
Here is a newer chipset driver for Archer T3U /T3U Plus, please give it a try and issue will be gone or not.

Note: it is recommend to put the computer closer to the router and shut off the unnecessary programs like gaming programs and online video applications while perform ping test

If the issue just happen when you play video games, may I have a photo of the ping result? Does the issue happens on certain game the same for all games?

How about the other wireless adapter, does other pc or  laptop work fine when play the same video game?

May I know  the model of router, does the issue happen particularly connected to router on 2.4G/5Ghz?
Please check the motherboard of your computer and share a photo with us: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/

Thank you!
