Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: not sure

Hi,

After firm ware upgrade yesterday through Tether App in mobile, Archer A6 has become brick and not working.  All lights are ON but not able to connect to internet.  In Tether App, it says "Offline" and asking me to power on.  Am not able to reset the router too.  Not sure what to do.  Contacted support via phone but they said they will call me back and did not get the call so far.  No one is picking up the support numbers even after calling multiple times.

Please help to reset my router OR do firmware upgrade, etc.  It has to work and without internet it is very difficult to work at home these days.

Thanks

Harish

@HarishRN

Agree with terziyski that you can try to hard reset the router one more time, or you can check if you can make it alive again by following the below stories:

If none helps, you will need to contact the local support for further assistance.

@HarishRN

Here's how to hard reset (Method 1) your router. If that doesn't work, you can contact your local support center and explain them what you've done so far.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

@Kevin_Z

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your reply.  I did check the download center page but could not find the firmware download.  It only shows the "Quick Installation Guide" but not the firmware to download.

Stuck here....

Thanks

Harish

@HarishRN

Here's the US FW.

Here's the EN FW.

You have to check which is the correct one depending of your country/region - here's how.

@terziyski

Thank you @terziyski but it is taking me to the same page where only installation guide is shown to download and not firmware as such (checked all 3 links you shared).

My router version is V3 but I don't see that option in download center.  It says V3.20 but still there is no link to download.

Thanks

Harish
