Hi,

 

I need to call from the my TL-MR100 router's SIM , that is using the cellular network. Thru router i can send /receive SMS , i require this to extend functionality to make calls. This is similar to what TL-MR6500v offers.

 

Option I was thinking is to download the firmware of  TL-MR6500v and use the web gui that has phone interface, can I do that ?  kindly advise how can I use my router to  atleast make calls (if not receive).

Hi, may I know who is your SIM card carrier?

TL-MR100 could not use the firmware of TL-MR6500v.

it is Vodafone. There should be some way with existing resources around , i believe it's software interface that is required. Are there any paid/open software available?

Any updates on this ?  Can Tp-link help resolve this - i believe Tp-link have all the necessary software to enable the phone calling feature. I am also ready to pay for the software.
