AV600 Powerline wifi kit

Firmware Version: N/A

I recently purchased a AV600 Powerline wifi kit. My internet connection is pinging a steady 50 Mbps. After setting up the devices as per the instructions, the speed test is oscillating between 1 mbps to 50mbps intermittently when the devices are powered on. There is no continuity of signal, can you please advance how to troubleshoot?

If you do not connect device to AV600 or use the bandwidth through AV600, only powered on AV600, will that affect your router bandwidth?

As all devices uses the total bandwidth from router, if devices use internet from AV600, router speed test will fluctuate.

May i know the model number of your router & Modem, is it a DSL connection.

Please try to locate AV600 to a socket which is far from router if possible (e.g. expend the length of Ethernet cable) and see that makes any difference?
