What is a chipset driver?
The chipset driver is provided by a chipset manufacturer that may fix various issues, it could be still under test stages by TP-Link.
For the initial installation, please download and install the TP-Link official driver.
If the adapter does not work properly with the official driver being installed, you could try the chipset driver.

@Solla-topee This driver appears to fix 3 problems that I had with my T3U Plus:
1. Constant disconnects
2. Not connecting automatically on boot
3. USB 3 adapter only running in USB 2 mode
However, it appears to break the MU-MIMO functionality:

Thanks for this! I was having trouble with the official driver (Archer T3U V1_180724):

You should update it in the product page too.
Beware, that "official version" [the one from that page] has a really bad memory leak problem.
Since 8 months my 16gb ram computer was having problem with the virtual memory, reaching 50gb after a while. Doing research i found out that the problem was the RunSwUSB service that install the original Archer T3U driver.
When i opened task manager and went to the "Detail" tab and then to the "Handles" column, the runSW.exe process had a more than 50k, causing my virtual memory to go up to 50gb slowly. And when i restart the service, it start low but then its slowly increase without control or limit.
Now with this new driver the runSW.exe process stays in value between 120- 130 and my virtual memory no longer reach 50gb.
Thank you!
PD: My model is Archer T3U
PD2: In my case the MU-MIMO functionality is OK

Hello @Wache thank you for your feedback with the official driver and the chipset driver.
As far as I know as the official driver is for all users, it may not be updated very timely until that has gone through full test stages or there are some major bugs to be fixed. I will check with related team about your feedback with memory leak, thank you for your proposal.

@Solla-topee For the next chipset driver release please add this hardware id: USB\VID_2357&PID_0138
Its for TP-Link Archer T3U Plus, I wasn't able to install the chipset driver version 1030.44.0531.2021 using the setup.exe file because the driver doesn't have that hardware id.
I was able to install the driver only by following the How to Manually Install Adapters on Windows 10? tutorial and select the TP-Link Wireless MU-MIMO USB Adapter from the list of devices available on the netrtwlanu.inf file.
