Hi all,

I have at home an ASUS router (RT-AX56U Wifi 6 AX1800 Dual-Band) and a TpLink Powerline kit (passthrough adapter TL-PA8010P + wifi extender TL-WPA8730).

Do you think I can build with them a MESH?

Are they compatible for that?

Thank you

mf

@mfran2002

Mesh technologies from different manufactures are and they are not compatible. TP-Link OneMesh is built between onemesh tp-link router and onemesh tp-link range extenders or powerline devices, you could learn more details here:

Several questions about the OneMesh™ and Mesh

Powerline Kit could still work as ordinary extender when work with Asus router, it could use the same SSID as the main router, but it's not a 'seamless' Mesh.When device roam from router to powerline extender, there will be a short disconnection normally within a few secs.
