Firmware Version: 3.14.2 Build 171206 Rel.32803n

Hello,

I tried to update my R200 (EU) v.1.1 range extender to the latest available firmware on the TP-Link website (RE200(EU)_V1_211101) and every time I am trying to do this I get the Error code: 18005
Upgrade unsuccessfully because the version of the upgraded file was incorrect. Please check the file name.

Every other firmware version from the same page is working, with the exception of the latest one.

Is the available file on the website the wrong version for this rage extender?

Please help!

Sorry for the late reply, I only see 2017 firmware available for RE200 (EU)V1. May I have a link of the new firmware you mentioned?

May I have a photo of the firmware and hardware version, a photo of label of your range extender, and the error message Thank you.

Hello again,

In the meantime I talked with a TP-Link representative from Romania and sent him some pictures and, from what I am seeing right now, the firmware was pulled off from the TP-Link website.

Here are those screenshots, FYI.

Hello @Metadethrax

Thank you for the photos a lot. I checked with our engineer that RE200 (EU) V1 new firmware need some further test and was pulled off temporarily. It should be released later, so far the ETA of release is not yet confirmed, you may have a check on the website update in the next two weeks.
