Hi folks, thanks for interest.

 

Then I need to mention that I could not select correct model. This is about the ADSLmodem in Deco line AX1800. The server of DHCPservice is frequently down. Then only devices connected will work fine, but when renew the IP lease the connection is not restored and 169. ip will be appointed.

A reboot will restore services, but that can not be the way TPlink work. I am used better quality of service from this company.

 

Hope there will be a fixing firmware distributed shortly. 

 

When will the X80-5g will be for sale?

 

Any chance TPlink will stop asking monthly fees for services that use to be free for PAYING customers? i.e. parental control in weekend. Devices are expensive enough to meet market and other manufacturers, so switching is easy.

 

Hope to get a reply to my satisfactory, but we all have dreams.

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

The model number for ADSL Deco AX1800 should be Deco X20-DSL.

As for your current issue, May I know who is your internet service provider?

And what internet connection type did you use, dynamic IP or PPPoE?

Did all of your mobile devices have the DHCP server issue?

Could you please also log into the web UI and help me save the system log?

 

As for the release date of Deco X80-5G, I see it is ready in some regions.

And for the Netherlands, it is suggested you could regularly check on the local office website.

@TP-Link Thank you for the quick reply.

You are right about the device being Deco X20-DSL.

 

 

Provider is KPN with PPPoe, but imho that is not relevant. All devices suffer from this issue of the DHCP going down, they just do NOT get an IP. What device is recommended to make a DHCPrelay? Seems like the X20DSL specifications are not sufficient to keep track of all IPs in my network.

 

Already made an backorder with a company here, thanks.
