I have installed with out problem the TL-WPA7517 KIT. It is plugged into my TalkTalk router hub with the ethernet cable and into the mains socket.

The extender is on the same electrical cicuit board. I need wifi in the garage to use with security camera, only 10 mtrs from Router hub.

I have found that my Desk top computer, which is the only other thing plugged into the router with ethernet cable, is now working very slowly and finding it difficult to download stuff. When I unplug the TP link Powerline, the computer works fine.

Basically , I can not use the KIT with reduced broadband on the computer.

Any suggestions , not to technical would be appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply. Powerline signal could become weaker especially in a house extension when travels in the House power line( not direct distance).

1. Please confirm the garage and the main building is under the same electrical meter.

2. To check the powerline environment is suitable or not, please download tpPLC Utility software or app and share a photo of powerline rate between two powerline units, thank you
