error connecting tether app with MR200 v4
Hi
I m trying to setup MR200 v4. with tether app but when the Login screen comes up default password admin not working.
I did reset the device and I am able to access the router page through my PC with default login credentials admin/admin.
So what else I can do for it? I even tried the setup process from different mobile device but no luck.
Is there any other option that should be enabled in the router page to be able to connect wth tether?

Hi, can I have a picture on the tether APP that asked for a password?
Have you tried the password for the TP-Link email ID?
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes I have already tried login with my tp-link password
It just says incorrect password. Then device will lock for 2 hours after 10 consecutive attempts.

Hi, sorry, I did see the message and I thought I replied to it but apparently, I didn’t.
For the Archer MR200 V4, it did not support TP-Link cloud so the potential influence of cloud server has been excluded.
I have a check with the senior engineers, the password here should be the same as the web UI login password.
Your current firmware build 191108 is quite old and it was a customized firmware for Greek ISP Wind.
There is a new firmware- Archer MR200(EU)_V4_210201 and you could check whether you could update to this firmware.
If not, please send an email to support.forum@tp-link.com with the following information:
1. A screenshot that you are able to log into the UI via the same password.
(If you could click the “eye” icon to show the password which would be highly appreciated.)
Thank you very much.
