Model: TL-PA4010
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: UK/1.20

My Win 11 computer and laserjet printer are connected via powerline adapters.  The printer is not discovered automatically but I cannot discover the protocol eg TCP/IP to add it manually.

 Hello @Solla-topee

Thank you for your reply.

As always the problem was more complicated than i imagined (and windows 11 still has many glitches)

Nevertheless your adice prompted me to return to first principles and build back from the bottom.  Re-pairing powerlines and re-configuring the network settings on the printer.

All sorted :-). andrew

Hello @Ataps

1.Please make sure computer has Internet, printer has a valid IP address (or make sure printer is on router's client list)

2. To check the connection between computer and Printer, try to ping printer IP address from computer and see if that is accessible

How to Use the Ping Command

How to find IP address on your devices?

To help isolate the issue, can I know your network topology, what is the Ip addresses on computer, can you ping printer successfully?

e.g. Router <Ethernet>PA4010____<House powerline >PA4010 extender<Ethernet> Computer

Router--Printer Model XX

Thank you!
