Model: Archer T2U Nano
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I recently got a new router that supports 2.4 ghz and 5ghz. when I connected to the 2.4 the internet was stable, but as soon as I switched over to the 5ghz, the internet speeds up to about 20mbps for about 10 seconds then slowly drops all the way to 0 in a matter of seconds. can anyone relate or help me solve this issue?

Hello @ArnoP

Here are some tips that might help with 5G changeable speed concern

-  Make sure other devices like laptop/ phone could get stable speed at the same location
-  Log in router and try a different 5Ghz channel like 36/40/44/48 etc. you may set 5Ghz channel width at 40Mhz for less inference
-  Make sure you have tried the latest TP-Link official driver for the adapter

https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/archer-t2u-nano/

- Try this chipset driver for Archer T2U(Nano/ Pus)(Win7/Win10) and see it helps improve performance

I hope this helps~
