I am having issues with my TL-WPA4530 kit, with connection dropping randomly. I have power saving disabled, and does not help at all. When it happens I lose Internet connection (Wifi and Ethernet) for some minutes. If I try to ping router, packets are not reaching the router. Everything else connected to the router is working fine during that disconnect period. After some minutes, the connection will resume automatically.

The issue happens randomly during day and night, and the PLC leds are all green. Saw someone talking about earlier firnwares being more stable, but I could not downgrade it. My current firmware is 1.0.7 Build 160912 Rel.40637n

Thank you for your detailed post!  May I how long has this adapter been working fine before with the same router.  

You could try to set an IP reservation for Wi-Fi power line unit &  the wired & WiFi client connects to WPA4530 and see if that helps.

If the issue persists, if the power line kit has been working fine for certain time like a year , I suggest contact the retailer or local support to check device warranty.

Besides, we  don't usually to downgrade the firmware unless the issue occurs since firmware update and for WPA4530 the previous firmware is pretty old,

@Solla-topee I have been using it since 2017, with the same router. The issue only started 1 year ago, firstly I though it was caused by the Wifi (I was connecting via Wifi at the time), then I switched to Ethernet cable and it is the same. The unit is out of warranty.

Thank you.  It is more likely the kit is defective. You may consider upgrading the powerline kit or purchase the new KIT to replace it.
