  @TP-Link Oh Oh! my main XE75 Deco seems to have an issue.. the first LAN port doesn't seem to work properly anymore (counting from top to bottom)?!

if there is "any" going trough it's like using a 1200 baud modem.. when i use the second or thirth port it seems to work fine for the moment..

powercycled the Deco several times but it doesn't seem to make any difference... any logical things i could try?

both Decos run FW:

1.1.6 Build 20220804 Rel. 44443

  @Ou-Tannu

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

When you said "if there is "any" going trough it's like using a 1200 baud modem", I don't think I get it correctly and could you please paraphrase again for you? Is the device connected to first LAN port on longer be recognized by Deco, like "cable unpluged"?

By the way, How long have you had Deco XE75 and did it use to work before?

Thank you very much.

  @David-TP

when i plug a cable in.. there is an actual link. my TL-SG108E tells me it should be a 1000mbit link..  but for some unknown reason when using the first LAN port on the DECO it barely gets any traffic trough..

a simple "ping" even times out..  when it should pass trough lan port 1..

when using lan ports 2 or 3 it works like it should do!

and i've ordered my XE75s on the 18th of May 2022..

I currently have 3 Deco M5's looking to replace with the XE75. On the M5'S I can manually set the signal source of what node connects to what node. Can I do this with the XE75 as well?

Did you get a chance to see my message? Can the XE75 choose the signal source like my Deco M5's?

  @TP-Link  i just ordered the deco xe200 and went through this forum and am a little lost. Can the 6ghz band be used for wireless backhaul and clients in parallel? A previous post said that there is a visible 6ghz band and a hidden one. Also, a month ago tplink had a post on Reddit regarding matter protocol. Will the xe200 be able to be utilized as a thread border router to support matter?

  @Ron_gone_wrong

Hi, welcome to the community.

The 6Ghz is working as the hidden backhaul by default and you could also change it to the wifi network and backhaul manually on the Deco APP So it could be used in parallel.

As for the matter, we are quite interested in the new Matter protocol but there haven't been any updates about matter compatibility on the Deco products.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @TP-Link, Is it possible to disable the OneMesh feature? I don't want hidden SSIDs being advertised on the same channel at every frequency.

  @turboaddict

Hi, welcome to the community! For Deco products, usually, we did not use "OneMesh" since it is different from Deco Mesh. The hidden SSID is used for wireless backhaul between Decos which could not be disenabled.

Best regards.
