Model: TL-PA9020P KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: BCM60500_v3.2.4b_20170628_EU_PA9020Pv1.0

My devices are arranged like below:

DSL wire -> Modem + Router with NAT -> TP-Link Powerline -> TP-Link Powerline -> Router2 with NAT -> My PC with tpPLC software.

I want to keep NAT in my Router2. What is acceptable is port forwarding or something similar.

Problem:

I cannot access TP-Link Powerline devices from tpPLC software.

Hello @GPL

As I learned about from our engineer, tpPLC Utility and Powerline device need to be on the same local network, or the Utility could not find the powerline device.

Port forwarding does not help for  this situation.

@Solla-topee Thanks for the reply. Why don't you guys run normal firmwares like other normal (non powerline) routers on powerline devices. For example, I can get into a normal Fritz box (non powerline) by entering http://fritz.box/ or also a normal Netgear (non powerline) router by entering http://routerlogin.net/ irrespective of my PC behind many layers of NAT. Please provide a normal webpage based settings instead of tpPLC software. With webpage based settings I can also update dLAN settings either with Android or remotely from outside as well.

Hello @GPL

Thank you for your idea about the remote login on Powerline Device,I will record your feedback first and pass along for further evaluation.

Currently there are some tp-link routers and range extenders with cloud feature allows a remote management, not on Power line extenders so far.

Hope you have a good day!
