Model: Archer AX20
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Archer AX20(US)_V2_210901

So, I bought a new router recently, which is after I kept having the same issue with the ISP provided router and unfortunately it is also happening in my new router.

Issue:

1. Connection drop after every auto reboot.

2. I set auto reboot for the routers to restart by 3.00 AM every day.

3. However the connection to the routers will drop and I have to restart my router manually(by pushing the power button off and on) to regain the connection.

Routers used:

1. Archer AX20

2. Archer A6

Environments:

1. The routers get connection from the modem by Dynamic IP

Mitigate at the moment:

1. Remove the auto reboot and the connection will not drop.

What I have performed:

1. Update the firmware - NG

2. Try different time for auto-reboot - NG

Anybody has the same experience?

Hi @Kevin_Z

I found this solved the issue.

As this is beta release, when the expected official release?

@Miroslav_86 Glad to hear that. The new official firmware is on its way now, and it could be available in a week or two, please keep an eye on the router web GUI or the Tether app for the updates.

Hi @Kevin_Z

I monitor the issue and now its no longer happening but my download speed has cut to half its bandwidth.

I can confirmed that this happening only after changing to the beta version.

Further I tested with another router(Archer C6) and the download and upload speed is normal.

I believed this happened after I upgraded to the beta version.

@Miroslav_86

What is the download and upload bandwidth you got from your internet provider? Try resetting the router to factory defaults, reconfigure it from scratch and just set up the internet access on the router, don't modify any advanced settings such as QoS, then test and monitor the speed again.
