I have changed my WAN DNS to Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) 2 days ago, based on a suggestion on another topic on this forum,, and so far I have not had any disconnects since then.

I am not sure what is the relation (or if there is one) between DNS servers and the internet disconnect, but could be an workaround if it does not disconnect. I will update.

This might be related, but every time my router auto-reboots (I set it to happen every monday at 4am), the router comes back with internet down, I have to manually reboot it for the internet to come back.

any tips? Thanks

Firmware Version:

2.1.2 Build 20210901 rel.75450(5553)

Hardware Version:

Archer AX20 v2.0

It generated no logfile entries

I tried disabling/enabling auto-boot in settings as recommended in another post, let's see what happens next monday lol

The beta firmware update did seem to solve the issue for me (AX21 v1.26). Nearly 24 hours after installing the update, I've experienced no more disconnects. Like you, this was a brand new router purchase for me - this is not reflecting well on TP-Link (e.g. check reviews on Amazon mentioning disconnect issues).
