Model: Adapter
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am unable to pair a new TP-Link TL-WPA4220 2-Port Add-On Powerline Adapter to my existing network. When I press the pair button on the new adapter nothing happens. The instructions state the LED light will start blinking and the powerline light will become steady. However nothing at all happens when I press the pair button - no blinking and no steady lights comes on. I have tried this now 10 times and also reset the adapters.

Hello @Ravilation

1. Try to pair manually: please  put 2 powerline units in the wall sockets, in the same room, and pair them again :
Paring Note:  press Pair button only for 1 sec, Power Leds should be flashing on both powerline units in pairing process. ( if the Power Led does not or stop blink, press it for 1 sec again)
When the Powerline Led or House Leds are on, the pairing process is done

FAQ: How to secure (pair) the Powerline Network?
-  Connect main powerline unit to router via Ethernet cable, and put powerline extender in the room where you try to extend internet

2. Try to pair using tpPLC Utlity
Please factory reset your powerline unit by tpPLC Utility one by one:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1612/

Refer to this instruction to pair the powerline units/ add an extra powerline unit by Powerline Key:
https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1615/

If the power Led still not blink, can I know the hardware version of the TL-WPA4220, can you share the Sn number & MAC address of device by private message?

Did you reset it by tpPLC Utlity?
