Is it actually possible to "ping" the WAN IP address of your Archer A5 router from another device on the Internet? (you may have to allow ping from WAN port via the menu Security -> Advanced Security first)

Yep, the ping is ok: Pinging 93.73.99.*** with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 93.73.99.***: bytes=32 time=28ms TTL=57 Reply from 93.73.99.***: bytes=32 time=34ms TTL=57 Reply from 93.73.99.***: bytes=32 time=32ms TTL=57 Reply from 93.73.99.***: bytes=32 time=31ms TTL=57 Ping statistics for 93.73.99.***: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 28ms, Maximum = 34ms, Average = 31ms

If you don't mind the effort, then you could try if a Factory Defaults Restore solves the problem, but I don't have much hope.

By the way, what is the router's WAN connection type? Is it PPPoE or the relatively rarely used PPTP or L2TP?

Neither the first nor the second. The connection type is dynamic ip.

Could you go to the menu "System Tools" -> "Diagnostics" of your A5 router and do a Traceroute to some server on the Internet and post the result? (you can replace the rightmost numbers of the IP addresses with stars if you wish)

For example, enter www.tp-link.com in the "IP address/Domain name" field.

This looks all good to me. I really don't understand why it's not possible to access the router from the Internet.

Have you checked if there is any newer firmware version available for your router model?

@n00b-2005

If you want to remotely access to the router's web management page, have you enabled Remote management feature on this router?

How to configure local and remote management access on Archer C50/C20/A5 (new logo)?
