TD-W8980 Firmware / NAT issues

Could you please advise whether we can expect a new firmware supporting NAT loopback and NAT with different internal/external ports.
I have used the TD-W8960 in the past and these features were present and worked very well. I am disappointed that these are not currently present in the top of the line 8980 model. As I require these features I will return this router to the place of purchase if there is no plan to add these features in the near future.

the new firmware of 8980 is under developing , i saw 8970 old firmware doesn't support NAT loopback also, but now a new firmware which support NAT loopback for 8970 has been released.

The firmware was released a month ago for the w8970. Seeing as this is the higher model we're talking about which obviously isnt as popular im not holding my breath.

But LOOK! A new version of firmware for the UK - SURPRISE it is just to deal with a bug for the IPad, shows where TPLinks priorities lie - mustn't upset apple must we?

I think Firmware 130305 and Firmware 130304 are the same. They just end with different numbers.

TP-LINK are aware of this issue but have no intention of sorting it out.
The support team are completely useless.
Mine is going back or in the bin!
Will never buy from them again.
