Pretty new extender TP-Link RE605X still doesn't support WPA3!
How is this possible?
This is an AX standard extender, it should work in conjunction with AX standard routers, they all support WPA3.
But when switching to OneMesh, you have to abandon WPA3 in favor of the less secure WPA2 standard.
This mess.
When will there be a firmware with WPA3 support for the TP-Link RE605X extender?

Updated 22/09: for the WPA3 compatibility or planned model, please keep an eye on the official website or the WPA3 compatibility list.
Hello,
Thank you for the feedback! As double check some resources, now RE605X V2 supports WPA3, V1 does not yet.
For the latest information about WPA3, it is always recommended to keep an eye on WPA3 compatibility list (will add Range Extender later)
https://www.tp-link.com/wpa3/compatibility/
For WPA3 support, I'd suggest creating a Feature request thread on Range Extender Feature Request Board, so users who have the same request can comment and vote /thumb-up for it, it helps us organize the feedback and share with our team for evaluation. Thank you.

Hi @D_K
If you recently purchased the range extender, it is recommended to check for some RE models that already implemented the WPA3 feature like RE605X V2, RE600X V2.
