Can I update this router? I bought it from Orange Jordan
Is it possible to activate the SIM card after performing any device update?

yes you can normally use router after update....but i recommend to update the router through Ethernet cable...simply by downloading latest software from tp link website of your region..

@Namann1 My country is not on the list of countries in the Middle East
And another question, are you a specialist or do you work in Tp-link
I will download the latest version of the update using the computer for this as indicated in the instructions

Hi, Thank you for your patience.
I see your current firmware seems to be a customized version for Orange Jordan and could not update to the general firmware.
Since you mentioned updating the firmware in order to activate the SIM card, Do you no longer use Orange service and tend to change to a new SIM provider but found the SIM is locked to Orange only?

The customized firmware is under the centralized maintenance of SIM providers and if there is any performance issue, you could send feedback to Orange first.
If a new firmware is needed, they are able to help you update the firmware directly.
