Static IP clients and other devices on switch showing offline
I have 2 Deco W6000 units set up in my network where I have a TL-SG108 switch connected to my main Deco unit along with the ethernet cable from my modem. On that switch, I have a raspberrypi set up with a static IP reserved from the Deco app but it shows as offline even when it can connect to the internet. The other wired devices on that switch also show as offline as they can still connect to the internet so it's mostly an annoyance but I am unable to see their internet speeds/manage them with the app.
From the support page, it seems as this intended behavior. https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1898/#:~:text=If%20Deco%20does%20have%20internet,page%20and%20then%20release%20it.
Does anyone know if I can fix this or if there is a workaround so they don't always show as offline?
Thanks.

@David-TP David - I had noticed the backdated version number as well.
The question arises, how will we know if this fix has been included in the next upgrade for the X60?
Say there is a new release 1.10 with essential security upgrade or improved functionality (ability to view historical data usage per device!) - if I upgrade to that new version, will I again lose visibility of my static devices? Hopefully it will be specified in release notes.
As it is, I will have to stick with this beta version 1.0 if I want to keep visibility of all my devices, and refuse any upgrades.

Thanks for the update.
This fix will be included in the next upgrade for Deco X60 and It is not clear which next version will be.
Usually, the important Modifications and fixed Bugs will be mentioned in the release notes.
If not, you are free to ask here and I could double-check with the engineers.
Best regards.

@David-TP Hi, I have had this issue ever since I purchased the devices. Makes sense about the Network switch as that is my current configuration. FYI, the clients do not update on the app or the web interface (unless I do a full reboot of all 3 Deco's) so I am looking forward to trying your firmware fix.
I have 3 V2 Deco X60's running 1.5.1 Build 20210204 Rel. 50164.
Will I have a problem loading the V3 software you provided? If so, do you happen to have an update for V2 or another suggestion?
Thanks!
Howard

I am having the same problem with x20. Printer has ip address that I can use from the browser but do not show up to add as a new device. I can enter ip address to add but still does not show up as connected in the app.

I noticed that v3 hardware has had new firmware released (v1.11). Does this new version contain the fix in the beta?

I'm having the same problem. I have a network with 5 DECOs and many switches. At the present time there is 61 clients connected, some directly in the DECOs, some through switches, but the APP shows 0 connected.
Some are connected directly at the main DECO through WIFI and they don´t show at the APP.
When I go to CLIENTS, it show 68 offline clients. If I remove all of then, the DECO start to find then again, and they show online.
After some days, all go offline at the same time. But only in the APP they are offline. All off then are working fine.
The main DECO is M5 firmware 1.6.1 Build 20220818 Rel.36456.
