TL-MR6400 v4 disconnecting each time an upload of more than 5mb is made

Hi,
Each time I'm trying to upload, no matter the website or app, The connection is automatically lost and the router can even reboot itself.
Is there some parameter to change ? Something that can be done ? I've checked with the internet provider in France which says there is no problem with the line.

Hi, would the same issue happen to all the devices that are connected to MR6400?
By the way, may I know how long have you had the modem and when did this issue start?

I see there is a newer firmware version for MR6400 V4:
Please try to back up your current configuration under Advanced>system tools>backup&restore and update this firmware to see whether it could fix this issue.

I have the same router and am having the same issue. On other forums the reason given for this is Bloatbuffer. The router is not handling the data in a managed way and when uploading something it maxes out the upload portion and then latency spikes and the router crashes. How can TP-link bring out a router with this fatal flaw in a world that revolves around cloud services and uploading large quantities of data. Do you know for sure that upgrading the firmware as you have suggested fixed the Bloatbuffer issue?

Hi,
It's unfortunate and I had some email exchanges with assistant which did not resolve the problem, and I haven't heard from them since. Upgrading didn't change anything. It is not only uploading above a certain amount, but also downloading makes the router crash. When watching a live stream on Youtube in HD for example, the same problem will occur. Though less annoying, it is still a problem. But the upload treshold is really low, like around 6-7Mo will make the router reboot.
So I'm just working around it for the time being.

Hi,
I believe this to be the firmware a colleague of yours sent me. I upgraded both directly from the device and from what was sent to me. Both to no avail. This is what I see on the management platform of the device : Firmware Version:1.10.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 190521 Rel.38696n / Hardware Version:TL-MR6400 v4 00000001.
