Model: Deco X90

Hardware Version:

Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20210722 Rel. 65801

My internet speed: 300Mbps download; 50Mbps upload.

When connecting Deco X90 as Wireless Router Mode, I only obtained 100Mbps, regardless of whether I'm connecting Ethernet port 1Gbps or 2.5Gbps or WIFI6, WIFI5, etc, I could only get 100Mbps internet download speed, and 50Mbps upload.

When connecting Deco X90 as AP mode, through the free cheap wifi router that came with the subscription, I was able to obtained 300Mbps.

All devices are able to obtained near 300Mbps connecting to Deco X90. Deco X90 was connected to the cheap wifi router via 1Gbps ethernet.

I am in disbelief that such expensive device Deco X90 are not able to reasonably act as a Wireless Router. And the specification did not mention, in any way, and the router mode was limited to 100Mbps for Deco X90? Unless I did something wrong?

Thank you very much for your feedback.

I can assure you that Deco X90 is capable of 1G and even more with its 2.5G port.

As for why it is capped as 100m/s on wireless router mode, here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Please check the Qos settings under HomeShield and make sure it is disabled.

2. Please change a new cable to connect Deco X90 to the ISP modem.

If still nothing changed, May I know who is your internet service provider and how about the model number of the ISP modem?
