  @David-TP

I brought the set of 2 from Amazon last week and it came with latest firmware but my nest camera (two outdoor) still go offline from time to time.

The cameras are connected to the 2.4Ghz IoT network.

The 2 units are connected via wired backhaul.

Is it a known issue?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco BE65 Pro should also support "Channel Selection"here.

New Features Arrived! Channel Selection and Wireless Network Mode

Did it help if you set the 2.4GHz channel to 1/6/11?

It is also suggested to enable "High Capacity" mode on the Deco BE65 Pro.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Hi David, it is connected to IoT WiFi which cannot select channels. It is already at high capacity mode since the two units are connected via wired backhaul.

  @Ben_Yu

Thanks for the update.

How about the disconnection frequency of the Nest outdoor cameras, multiple times within one day?

Have you tried to temporarily disable "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" to see whether it helps.

By the way, apart from the Nest cameras, would there be other smart home devices on the IOT network? Did any of them also have an unstable connection?

I don't have any other suggestions and would like to follow up on your case via email.

Please check whether you can receive my email later.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

I did have the problem with the iot network with tapo wifi cameras with be25.

The problem was the the security setting of the iot network.

This was WPA/WPA2 to have better connectivity for older camera models.

But the new Tapo camera wouldn't connect to this until i have changed the security to only WPA2.

Maybe this here is the same problem?

  @nurix

Hi, thank you very much for the update.

I also noticed that some smart devices only support WPA2 and consider WPA "insecure."

Can I have the model number of the Tapo cameras?

If the IOT security was set to "WPA2 only", would the older cameras work well?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.
