Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.0.6 Build 20211124 rel.47313(5553)

Archer AX72 v1.0 - unable to write files larger than 15MB into HDD connected to USB port

I can create files, move small files, copy small files, but not files large than 15MB

USB Setting

I have tried a combination of Secure Sharing on/off and Media Sharing on/off, but unable to write files larger than 15MB into HDD connected to USB port

How do you write files into the HDD, via SMB or FTP access? How about trying the other?

Are you able to write files larger than 15MB into the HDD if you insert the HDD directly into the computer?

Even though it may be unrelated, I would like to know the brand and model of the HDD that is attached to the USB port of AX72, what is the format?

I am writing to the HDD via SMB

\\IP Address

I am able to write files larger than 15MB if I were to plug into the computer directly.

Western Digital 2TB WD Blue PC Hard Drive - 7200 RPM Class, SATA 6 Gb/s, 256 MB Cache, 3.5" - WD20EZBX

exFat and NTFS having the same problems

no problem reading it using Router USB port (any size)

but problems writing bigs files to Router USB port

Just out of interest.

What is the exact error message you see when it fails to copy a file that is larger than 15 MB in size?

Is only this particular Western Digital 2TB HDD having problems or does is also happen with another USB drive connected to the AX72? (e.g. USB flash/thumb drive)
