Hi,

 

After update to 1.2.1 every wifi device got kicked out except for the ethernet and when I can connect there is no internet at all. All of my iot device can't connect to 2.4Ghz as well. I have to restore about 4 times to make it work, most of my device can connect but some can't connect to 5G band. Then suddenly every device got kicked out of the wifi again.

 

Then I saw the 1.2.2 update and I thought it might fix the problem. But after the update it didn't fix anything, I tried restore it to default but it's not working like before.

 

What happen and what should I do? Is it possible that the online update accidentally update the firmware with the US version so it's not compatible with mine (EU) ?

Hello @justUsername,

 

Does it mean the Ethernet connection of the AX73 is pretty stable, but neither 2.4G nor 5G provides stable connectivity? Is the internet LED stay green all the time when the wireless clients drop?

 

Do the 5G and 2.4G networks share the same SSID and security settings? What if you try disabling the Smart Connect on the router, and create a separate SSID for the 5G network, will the 2.4G and 5G be stable? You can also modify the wireless settings for both 2.4G and 5G settings, such as channel, channel width, and security. For the mode, you could try 802.11 b/g/n mixed for 2.4G and 802.11 a/n/ac mixed for 5G, then reboot the router to monitor.
