Password did not work. Tried to use web browser method but asks for user name and password tried admin and admin dosnt work.

Did you create any password when login device in Tether app or in range extender web page? That is the login password required.
If the login password does not work, it would be a good step to factory reset the range extender and create a new login password for it.
