Hi,

Using the newer beta version to setup VPN Client via Open VPN with SurfShark as the provider. From my local windows machine, I have no problems connecting, though, when trying to add SurfShark to the router, I cannot add the VPN client. I have the credentials and have tried both the UDP and TCP ovpn file and they fail each time. It's like it doesnt even try to connect, based on how fast it prompts a fail.

Any help would be great.

Yes, I have tried that guide and looked at many posts to see if I could resolve the issue before contacting support. I unfortunately cannot add the server to the server list. After clicking save, it immediately states "operation failed".

Please see the attached server profile as an example. Let me know if sending the ovpn file helps.

Try a shorter name for the configuration file in this field:

If this still persists you can contact your local support to be advised further on that matter.

Yeah, just tried that as well and get an "operation failed"  right away.

@MichaelN

Can you please email the opvn file to support.forum@tp-link.com, then we will have a check?

Hi Kevin,

I just sent the UDP opvn file. Note that I have tried the TCP file and that one fails too.

Thanks for the help.
