Hello David,
When will this be released in the Amazon India store? It has been a year since it was released globally but still not released in India.
Will it support Indian Airtel 5G Nano SIMS? Can we also connect external antennas to it?

Hi, I think the 5G products need to pass the local 5G mobile network regulations first. So far, I haven't seen any TP-Link 5G products available in India Market. I am afraid it might still need a while.
Deco X80-5G, Deco X50-5G, and Deco X50-4G all support external antennas.
Thank you very much and best regards.

@David-TP I bought one of these to replace the EE Smart 5G Hub as I was having issues with the EE and mesh working together.
what I've noticed is that this router is only registering 4G signal even though its position is in the same place as the EE one that received 5G signal. The x80 is configured as 5G router and the 5G network is the preferred can you advise if this is normal behaviour?

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.
Have you checked the 5G band(such as N1/N78, etc..)on the EE 5G hub when it is working on the 5G network?
It is also suggested to refer to this link to manually configure an APN profile for EE mobile network:

Best regards.

@David-TP seeing as the routing functionality is limited adding bridge mode so better more powerful routers that someone may be using (and already have setup and running with very complicated configurations)
Would be incredibly useful!
Unfortunately we just had an x80-5g delivered for an emergency 5g backup if our fiber link goes down but not having bridge mode means it's now going to be returned and we'll have to get a better quality product.
Didn't think a basic function such as bridge mode would be excluded from a router until I had to Google how to enable bridge mode and found out how it's been purposely excluded from the firmware for 'unknown' reasons. Such a pitty.

Hi, David. I use a router in Russia. Everything is fine with a wired connection. There is a problem with the 4/5g connection. The router can see mobile networks, but it doesn't connect. I entered the settings from the website of the mobile operator. Can you help?

Hi, May I know who is your 5G carrier?
When you mentioned, "The router can see mobile networks, but it doesn't connect", do you mean the 5G SIM is detected, but there is no 5G mobile service and the LED on the Deco X80-5G is solid red?
Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP Hi. MegaFon. Yes. When you turn off the auto mode in the mobile operator selection, the router displays all available networks. I also tried the MTS sim card, but the result is the same. Thank you.

Hi, Thanks for the update.
Did you purchase Deco X80-5G in RU or overseas? I checked the RU official website, It hasn't uploaded any Deco-5G products.
I think it might haven't passed the local 5G regulations.
It is suggested to contact the local technical support to see whether they have any better suggestions:
