Model: TL-WPA7510 KIT
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: TL-WPA7510(US)_V2_180330

Hello,

After I updated the firmware to the latest version, neither my previous password, nor "admin" works to log in. It seems to have retained the wifi setup. Please help!

Hello   @enrique1g

If you can not log in web page to change Wireless settings, try to factory reset the Wifi powerline unit:

RESET: With device powered on, prress and hold the Reset button (or use a pin to press reset hole) until all LEDs will turn off and start on again.

We have a video that introduces different ways to change Wi-Fi settings for WiFi powerline unit, you could have a try at first.

Please click "How to Configure the TP-Link Powerline Extender to Your Wi-Fi Network" to check details (Note: the video is universal for other wireless powerline devices ):

@Solla-topee - will it retain the upgraded firmware through a factory reset?

Build number in firmware  Hello  @enrique1g

Yes, the firmware retains after factory reset.

Usually if you load the firmware, device does not keep the old settings but use default SSID and password printed on the label. It is also recommended to if the firmware has been updated successfully, the Build number in firmware will change after the firmware update.
