Two TP-LINK TD-W8961N routers V2 and V4 cannot connect via WDS to each other
Hello everyone.
Primary TP-LINK TD-W8961N V4 connected to Internet
IP address:
192.168.1.1
MAC address:
10:27:F5:0F:99:74
Version:
4
Firmware:
3.1.0 Build 210205 Rel.03549
Secondary TP-LINK TD-W8961N V2
IP address:
192.168.1.2
MAC address:
98:de:d0:fa:06:9e
Version:
2
Firmware:
Build 150630 Rel.34713
Both routers:
are set on channel: 2
having auth type: WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK
are having WDS mode activated
are having the same WDS password: tplinkwds
are having WDS encryption type: AES
Under WDS Mac Address #1 the primary router has the secondary router Mac address
Under WDS Mac Address #1 the secondary router has the primary router Mac address
Routers cannot see each other!
I can connect to each individually without any issues with a wireless device.
The secondary router has the DHCP server disabled.
I setup static IP address on the wireless device: 192.168.1.3
When I'm connected to the primary one I can see Internet and everything is good.
When I'm connected to the secondary one, I can't see the primary one, neither can see Internet, or I am getting DHCP address.
Where am I making a mistake? Are TP-LINK TD-W8961N V2 and V4 WDS incompatible? What should I do to make the seeing each other?
I'm using that guide from TP-LINK when I'm trying to connect both routers:

Thank you.
