Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.6.0

Hi

i got a notification on Aug 3rd to update my firmware on my deck m5 network (4 connected devices, main one as a router). I just did so and now there's no internet access. Such a terrible experience for just following your request.. 

now trying to post here the form is malfunctioning and I can't select model type as m5, only models that start with "a"..

Hi, you could manually search the model and pick "Deco M5" in the dropping-down listsmiley.

 

As for the internet service, have you tried a reboot of Deco or the ISP modem after the firmware upgrade?

Please also check on the Deco APP>More>Advanced>IPV4 and whether there is still an IP address here.

I haven't seen feedback like this before and if you were still having this issue, I am glad to provide any assistance.

Well, actually I couldn't type in the input box.. very strange.

Anyhow, I tried to reinstall and reconfigure the whole Deco network from scratch and it worked.

Not what I expected from just updating by recommendation, but at least I have wifi now :)
