Dear Concern

I have purchased Archer AX73 from Thailand Airport while returning to my home (Bangladesh).

 

But I couldn't access 5G on many cellphones and tried to change channel but failed because probably this is EU version and they don't support 160Hz which is required for Bangladesh. Now I'm totally lost as this only supports 2.4G with WiFi 6 and this is too slow.

Please provide me the right firmware so that I can have the solution.

Hi,

 

Unfortunately it is not possible to change a TP-Link router with a firmware designed for a specific region to a firmware version of another region that allows the use of different 5 GHz channels.

 

I don't know if anything may have changed in Bangladesh more recently, but according to some older information on the Internet Bangladesh used to allow only channels 149, 153, 157, 159, 161 in the 5 GHz band, which are not supported on EU versions of routers.
