Issue Description/Phenomenon

When inserting a Tiscali or Fastweb mobile SIM card into the 4G device, SIM card is detected but network type shows "No Service" on Advanced->Status page, such as the screenshot below:

If the problem still cannot be resolved, please follow the steps below for troubleshooting.

 

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Check which APN profile it is using now on Advanced->Network->Internet page, if it is not Tiscali profile, please select Tiscali profile in the profile list, if no Tiscali profile listed, please create a profile manually

2. Insert the SIM card into another 4G device or smartphone at the same location to see if it works on 4G, if so, please check the 4G band working on another 4G device or smartphone:

3. Share with us screenshots of Advanced->Status page, Advanced->Network->Internet page, then save a system log file on Advanced->System Tools->System Log page.

Speaking of which, any newer firmware for TL-MR6500v(EU)1.20?!?

I mean, is TL-MR6500v(EU)_V1.20_210812 (2021-12-29) the latest version?!?

  @Sunshine Latest firmware version i have mentioned works rather well except the auto/manual band selection. I think the algo implemented should be improved in order to switch between 2/3 bands when RSSI, RSRP, RSRQ and SINR values change finally very often due to the energy saving.

Hi, I've problem with Indonesia 3 SIM card. I try this new firmware, I thought will solved but the problem still exist. 

 

My hardware is: MR6400(EU) V5.20

 

wondering could you fixes with Indonesia 3 SIM card? I already use manual APN and change network or band but still "No Service"

Hi, it might be different issues, it is recommended to start a new post and provide screenshot of Advanced->Status page, Advanced->Network->Internet page along with the system log file.

 

By the way, is your SIM card working fine on your smartphone? If so, is the phone hotspot working as well?

  @Sunshine thanks for the post, I am having the issue you described with Fastweb but I can't see on the list the hardware I own: M7200 V2. 

How could I solve the problem?

Hi, could you please try to create profile manually on Advanced->Dial-up->Dial-up Settings page?

If it still doesn't work, please share with us screenshots of Status page, Dial-up Settings page and also system log on Advanced->Device->System Log page.

  @Sunshine I have the same identical problem in Greece with Cosmote network. The firmware upgrade does not work, the router rejects the firmware file with message "select the correct file" 

This is my hw version: TL-MR6400 v5 00000001
