Please confirm you've input correct Wifi password during setup
In case the range extender is affected by some advanced wireless settings on the mesh system, you may temporarily disable the Mesh feature on the Deco and see if that makes any difference, here is an FAQ that may help

May I know how about the LED status on the range extender after the setup,you could also try some tips here if the setup failed.
