Hi,

is it possible to update manually the cameras of the tapo series?

i think it would be great to be able to manually update the camera as soon as the update is available (like other tp link product such as the Deco), without waiting for the OVA on the app.

while on the subject, any ETA on the 1.3.0 update for the tapo C110?

just to update the post, a few days ago i received on my 2 C110 the firmware 1.3.0 that (on other things) enabled the smart action features

Thank you for staring a feature request post ,the firmware update is done via the Tapo APP which can ensure you receive the latest ,safe and official firmware from the TP-Link, usually we can't manually update for it except some beta firmware to fix a particular issue.

Shared by @gg_35 , the Tapo C110 V1 1.3.0 firmware with smart action feature has been released, kindly keep the firmware update when it is available in the app.

If you wish to use smart action on the tapo camera, please keep an eye on this thread update.
