I see the adapter has been installed successfully but you did not mention what issue you have had with the adapter.

Do you mean there is no internet service when connecting to the home WiFi?

If yes, I think Norton security might block something in the driver and would there be any chance that you could bypass or whitelist this laptop in Norton security?
