TL-WA1201 drops out of network at least once a day
I am having a problem with my WA1201. I am using it in 'Client' mode and have it connected to a network the switch via ethernet cable.
The switch is connected to 3 devices ie TV, PVR & Music player. .
Every night the WA1201 drops out of the network meaning the TV streaming suddenly stops.
The WA1201 is actually situated only about 4 metres from my modem. No devices using wifi on my network (2 x mobile phones, 1 x laptop, 1 x desktop) have any dropouts - ever. In fact, my laptop & desktop are located more than double distance from modem - apprx 8m+.
Can somebody assist with troubleshooting this annoying problem please?

The best course of action to resolve this would be to check the logs on your Router or the WA1201 and see what is happening when it drops out. Otherwise this could be a multitude of different things causing it.
Are you running the latest firmware on the device?

I wasn't on latest firmware originally but as from 17 Dec I have updated to latest version i.e. WA1201(US)_V2_220103.
Was working ok since Dec 17, but it just dropped out again on Dec 24.
I don't understand the logs. Can you/somebody interpret please?
NB; Tried to copy/paste router log but site said there were illegal links(?)?

I have the same problem and I have hardware v2.0 and the latest firmware 1.0.2 build 20220103.
The device just hangs every few days, while my wired network is fine.
My log contains the same messages as in the post above.
Why doesn't anyone from tp-link answer the questions?
If it's a hardware issue, then just admit it, so that we can stop wasting our time with this specific tp-link hardware and buy something else, or else avoiding the brand altogether is the only choice left.
Also, if anybody has successfully tried OpenWrt on this AP, then that'll be good to know.
As it is, the device is a piece of junk.
