  @Tomas7 DrAhmed86

Thank you for the update.

When I checked your TP-link ID, I noticed both your Tapo P110s were offline from the cloud server. Could you please help me check whether they could be remotely controlled over 4G network on the Tapo APP?

Best regards.

  @David-TP

Just did the test with the 2.4GHz solution...

Doesn't work for me, same message: Can't find devices.

Tapo P100 still works with the Tap app (on WIFI and on 4G)

Yes, the Tapo P110 can also be controlled via the 4G network via the Tapo App.

Well, my problem is solved...ouch.

Official message:

Dear Customer,
Many thanks for your valued reply.

I just confirmed the information with our RD team, and the Deco X20 does not support adding a Tapo device as a smart device. You can control the Tapo device in the Tapo app only, and we will support the Tapo models via firmware updates in the future.
"

Maybe your devices have the same support issue...

  @DrAhmed86 Tomas7

Thank you a lot for the update. I am quite surprised as well and let me check with the engineers again to see if they could provide a list of the compatible Deco models.

As far as I know, Deco M5 is capable of controlling Tapo P100 on the Deco APP.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards.

Update:

The current Deco models that are capable of controlling Tapo devices on the Deco APP:

Deco M5 V1/2/3/3.2 with firmware 1.6.0 and after, such as 1.6.1

Deco M9 Plus V1/V2 with firmware 1.6.0

Deco X50/55 V1 with firmware 1.1.0 and after, such as 1.2.0

  @David-TP

And what about the DECO X60?

I'm preparing an new entry  for a new problem: since December 2022 my smartphone Huwawei P20Lite (4years old) is losing Wifi connection. Bought a new one: Samsung A53... same problem.
Just read on the TP-link and Samsung.com forum that others have the same problem. When switching to 2.4 Ghz only  there is no problem.
I also had trouble with installing other smarth devices, only works when 2.4 Ghz only is selected on Deco X60 !

Time for an Deco X60 firmware update? Seems there is a 5GHz problem!
