Hi, the MTU could also be customized under the PPPOE connection.
For other modes, you could refer to this link:

Best regards.
Thrill, Hi, if you bought it online, it might be hard to know the hardware version in advance. But if you bought it in the local stores, the hardware version will be printed on the box, such as:

in the First post it says that the latest build is from 20230118 , but when pressed it downloads an older build current 1.2.0_221122. Is this a link error?

Hello @David-TP
I can see a couple of questions on the x50 4G but couldn't find the answer.
Can I use this update on my 4G version? If not when will the X50 4G get the ability to add a static router please?
Thanks
Dan

@David-TP
Yesterday I tried this new pre-release firmware and I want to test the WAN/WLAN auto-sensing port; I read that you post it that if the Ethernet cable is not unplugged it will not start auto-sensing by looking other ports.
If I unplug the WAN Ethernet cable from the Deco it makes my network devices connected through Ethernet or switch/Ethernet to be offline from the internal network.
Options:
1. Removing the Ethernet cable from the modem side, but still connected to the Deco?
2. Shut down the modem and Ethernet cable plugged in both side?
I want to simulate a test when Modem gets issue and makes no internet, to check that other devices are still connected to the network by Ethernet cable.

@Kransky.dan Hi, welcome to the community. This firmware could not be used on Deco X50-4G. the same firmware is planned to be released for X50-4G as well but the ETA is not guaranteed.
ezeb, Thank you for your question.
There is some information for your reference about the WAN/WLAN auto-sensing port:
Options:
1. Removing the Ethernet cable from the modem side, but still connected to the Deco?
The wan port would not be changed.
2. Shut down the modem and Ethernet cable plugged in both side?
It will trigger WAN/WLAN auto-sensing and both ports on Deco are left idle as WAN ports.
tguy888, Hi, normally if you update the main Deco X50 via web UI, the satellite Deco X50(please make sure it is on V1 as well) would get updated as well.
Best regards.

HI @David-TP
What is the different on this two version
1.2.0 20221122 Rel. 46653
vs
Deco X50-V1-1.2.0 release date 20230131
because the 20221122 was last week in this post, and this week you edited the Post with 20230131.
it was a bad typo in the file name from the original post, or there was an update on the 1.2.0 pre-release firmware?

Hi, 1.2.0 build 20230113(released on 2023.1.31) is an updated version of 1.2.0 build 20221122 Rel. 46653.
I emphasized the release date so that users could be able to see there is a newer version.
Best regards.
