Model: TD-W9970
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

The plastic antennas click off the unit but are still attached by wires. I will not need the wi-fi as i only use Ethernet cable connection. Can i cut the wi-fi antenna wires and discard the antennas altogether? Or will the cutting of the wi-fi wires affect the ethernet connection too?

  @andteenmac

Cutting the Aerial cable should not affect the ethernet connection at all, however it does seem rather drastic!  Personally I would just fold them down out of the way

  @Philbert Thanks for the reply. Yes, sounds drastic i agree, but with where i wanted to place the unit i am very limited on space. However i've managed to solve the issue without getting the shears out so i'll leave them intact :)
