Hi,

 

I have Deco M4R , for that i'm sure, now it is glued inside a custom case and i cannot see underneath the label.

 

From the app i get an error (never had an error, always updated from the app) on update:

 

 

Now from the web interface i get a no new firmware

 

 

but i check the site and i think i have a v.1.5.5 new firmware. Can someone from the picture above tell me which version i have and if a new firmware is available ?

Good day, your current firmware is Deco M4-V1-1.5.4 Build 20220113 Rel. 38349 and the latest version is 1.5.5 Build 20220823.

So far I'm not quite sure why you can not detect the latest 1.5.5 firmware, but you could try to manually download the 1.5.5 bin file and upload it on the web UI via Local Upgrade:

Deco M4(EU)_V1_1.5.5 Build 20220823

I've seen that link but if you notice closely the actual file it download is

static.tp-link.com/upload/firmware/2022/202209/20220915/Deco_M4_V2_1.5.5_220823.zip

 

While the text name on the link says Deco M4(EU)_V1_1.5.5 Build 20220823

 

 

Which i tried to upload manually from web interface and i get an error that firmware is not correct. Can i have the correct firmware ?

Can someone reply and clarify the firmware ? do i have to open a support ticket for better handling ?

It is the same firmware download link for both Deco M4 V1/V2.

ok did the manual upgrade, all good. also now from the android app on check for update i do not get an error i get that i have the latest update!! thanks!
