Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.0.13

I have 3 decos, main connected to Modem, second on the 1st floor and third on attic. The Attic one gets connected to main instead of the 1st floor deco and has very weak signal. Is there a way to force the attic deco to get connected to the 1st floor deco instead of main one?

  @TKumar

TP Link seem to be introducing the option to select the deco you connect too, off-hand however im not sure if the x60 has this update yet...

However, this isnt always a bad thing, it may say weak signal, but in fact be the best option.   Each time you connect a node it halfs the speed, so say 500 on the main deco, 250 on the middle and 125 on the end.

Bypassing the middle deco and going to the main deco, even if weak signal may actually be the better choice..  1/3rd of 500 is better than half of 250, that old idea!   However hopefully they will update your firmware and release this option for you.
