I Just purchased an extender for my home network, my DSL modem is wifi6 an when I set it up the extender the lights on the DSL modem went out is this normal, but the one good thing is my signal is stronger an so far buffering on smart tv have been minimal?

What is the model number of the DSL modem? You can find it on the modem bottom sticker, which should start with Archer xxxxx.

 

Which light is off after connecting the extender to the modem wireless? Please verify the LED lights on the modem by referring to the device user guide.
