Archer C64 doesn't support wireless Band 4, so try building the WDS with the 5GHz-1 wireless band of GX90.
Set a static channel 36 on GX90 5GHZ-1 band and then connect C64 to its SSID.
You can also set the C64 LAN IP address to 192.168.0.254 - outside GX90 DHCP range for better experience.

Please check and update the firmware of Archer C64 to the latest official version, which could be 1.12.0 or 1.12.1 now. Then try to enable the WDS bridging again to connect to the wireless of the GX90.
Be sure there is no Access Control or any block setting on the GX90 to block the C64 to connect to the network.
If still no luck, please save and send the system log on the C64 to support.forum@tp-link.com for further analysis.
